Free time was spent making playlists together or hosting listening parties at their apartment. They'd spend hours selecting music for parties they hosted and would regularly have friends over so they could all show one another their favorite music videos.
Sighthound Sound founders/curators, Christian and Riley, have been friends for a decade. Meeting in college, the two of them quickly started sharing music with each other and realized that they shared a deep love for music and its ability to score all of the highs and lows of life.
Years later, Sighthound Sound was started based on one core principle:
Life deserves to be romanticized.
With that in mind, Christian and Riley have set out to build a community that relishes in discovering new music, sharing it with others, and recognizing the power that music has to help us find the beauty in everyday life.

As lifelong lovers of movies and music, we’ve always been fascinated by how the two shape each other. We’ve all had that moment: watching a film and becoming obsessed with its soundtrack, or leaving it inspired to revisit certain songs.
Sighthound Cinema Club is our monthly radio show where we explore that connection. Each month we choose a film, watch it, and come together to talk about it—diving into the music already in the movie and building our own imagined soundtrack inspired by the viewing experience, which we play throughout the episode.
At the end of every show, we announce the next month’s film and invite you to watch it with us. The idea is simple: watch the movie, tune in, and join the conversation.
This show isn’t just about the music. It isn’t just about the movies. And it isn’t just about our takes.
